Hyder Consulting, the award-winning engineering, environmental, planning and management consultancy, celebrated its 150th international anniversary with a pool side dinner celebration for key international and regional clients and staff at the Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The function was presided over by regional managing director, Hyder Consulting Middle East Ltd, Rod Stewart and the area director for Abu Dhabi Chris Venemore who laid out the company’s plans for developing the business in the region and reiterated their commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of the UAE and its capital in particular.

“We have very exciting plans and ambitions for our future here in the Middle East, and are heavily committed to supporting the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in both traditional and new technical areas – whilst not letting go of our strong client relationships, and our core skills. We know that the quality of understanding of our clients and our people is the key to our future,” said Stewart.

With more than 45 years in the region, Hyder Consulting Middle East has more than 1,000 staff, with 450 of those based in Abu Dhabi. The company has expert support from its regional and international colleagues around the Group offices.
