The Pad, a high-tech tower currently under construction in Dubai, has been hailed at the International Property Awards 2007 for its innovation and design.

The futuristic tech-savvy tower, which has drawn international interest through its iconic design and smart-home interactive features, won the “Best International Apartment” title at the CNBC International Property Awards held in Las Vegas last week.

This award makes it the most awarded development in the region, after gaining several awards in the CNBC Arabian Property Awards earlier this year, said a spokesman.

The Pad is being built by Omniyat Properties.

Omniyat Properties president and CEO Mehdi Amjad said he was thrilled at winning recognition from such a prestigious international industry event.
