Abu Dhabi Investment House (ADIH) has appointed Vertex Productions as the official entertainment adviser for Qatar Entertainment City (QEC).

QEC is the largest real estate project to be launched by ADIH.

Vertex Productions, a US-based entertainment consultancy company with previous experience in Disney entertainment destinations, will provide industry expertise to ensure the entertainment cluster of QEC is designed with innovation, creativity and efficiency, based on international standards.

QEC, which is scheduled to be launched at the end of the year is a one million square metre development project located in Lusail, Qatar, and is being designed to encompass three different clusters - residential, business and entertainment.

'ADIH's policy of employing the best-in-class industrial expertise is exemplified in our choice of Vertex Productions,' ADIH chief executive and QEC chairman Rashad Janahi said.

'We are proud of this new partnership and are confident that it will result in high returns to both investors and developers.

'The Vertex team has worked on major projects in Asia, Europe and across the US, and is currently involved in major projects in Seoul, UAE and Hong Kong,' Vertex Productions president and founder Philip Vaughan said.
