Taameer Jordan completes school project

Taameer Jordan has completed all the renovation and maintenance work of Al Hashmieh School for Girls in Aqaba.
The project is part of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) large scale CSR initiative.
The initiative was launched at the school premises under the patronage of ASEZA chief commissioner Engineer Nader Al Dahabi and attended by Taameer Holdings general manager Dr Khalid Al Wazani , Manager of the Education at Directorate of Aqaba Ali Nu'emat, and the local press.
The attendees had a tour in the school facilities that included classrooms, playgrounds, WCs, offices, and administrative buildings. These were also all fully equipped with new electricity networks, new lighting fixtures, and new furniture.
The renovation project was only one of the many initiatives Taameer Jordan Holdings has planned for the school, as earlier this year the company also honored and awarded 100 distinguished students.
The company also will be working on skill-development for talented students, and to foster other programs that help secure a healthier learning environment for the students. This initiative was launched by Taameer Jordan Holdings in co-operation with the Department of Social Development of ASEZA, and the Ministry of Education.
Taameer Jordan Holdings works alongside other entities to launch other developmental initiatives that benefit the community, for example, it works alongside the Greater Amman Municipality in a community initiative to beautify the districts of Eastern Amman, and it is also working alongside other organizations within the private and public sector to launch philanthropic initiatives it will be unveiling during the holy Month of Ramadan.

This project is only part of a large scale development program we are devising for the portal city of Aqaba, as this city is home to three of our major projects. Through this endeavor we are hoping to secure a healthy learning environment for the students of al Hashemieh School for, as the students of today are the leaders of tomorrow,” said Dr Al Wazani.
Taameer Jordan Holdings is one of the first Real-estate Development companies to invest in the city of Aqaba, for it launched the Ayla Park Plaza project in Aqaba, a project that consists of two five-storey office buildings that are 8000 sqm in size and four buildings in-between.
It encompasses approximately 34 outlets and restaurants and its total area is 14,000 sqm. This project is located in the heart of the city of Aqaba, and was completed in January 2006.
The company is also working on Red Sea Resort project in Aqaba. The project consists of 260 villas with 4 different designs and full services and facilities on a total area of 147000 sqm. Red Sea Resort will be completed in the fourth quarter of the year 2008.
The city is also to be home to a teachers' village, which is part of a national project currently being developed by Taameer Jordan Holdings in co-operation with the Jordanian Ministry of Education. – TradeArabia News Service
