Manama, July 5, 2007

Abu Dhabi Investment House (ADIH) appointed Canadian entertainment facility experts Forrec as leisure and attraction consultant for its $3 billion Entertainment City Qatar project.

ADIH chief executive Rashad Janahi and Forec's Steven Rhys signed the agreement in London.

Forrec will provide strategic consultations on matters related to leisure and attraction in the Entertainment City project, including providing information on the different designs within the project, feasibility studies, operations, cost, and particularly the integration of these elements within the master plan of the project.

The firm will also assist ADIH in the selection of suitable operators for different components of the project, attracting investors, and identifying marketing and promotion activities.

"In Abu Dhabi Investment House, we are always committed to choose the best for our projects," said Janahi.

"Entertainment City Qatar is considered one of our most innovative projects; this is why we selected Forrec, which has one of the best in the field of entertainment projects.

"We are confident that this agreement will add value to the project. Abu Dhabi Investment House has always been able to stand out among competitors and achieve profits and revenues for investors and clients that are higher than market rates."

Entertainment City Qatar is located with Lusail Development Project north of the Qatari capital Doha, and will include tourism and entertainment facilities as well as a business centre, entertainment complexes, attraction city and a large collection of retail shops.

Forec has previously worked on several successful projects including Universal Studios, Paramount Parks, Lego, Nickelodeon, Marvel, CenterParcs, Samsung Everland and Herschend Family Parks.
