Two agreements have been signed between Bahrain Stock Exchange (BSE) and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) to list the company's shares on the BSE and appoint it as the registrar for Alba's shares.

The agreements were signed by Alba chairman Mahmood Al Kooheji and BSE director Fouad A Rahman Rashid.

According to the listing agreement, Alba's shares will begin trading today under the symbol ALBH in the Initial Public Offering market for six months according to the procedures followed at BSE.

The company will then be moved to the regular market to be traded in the Industrial Sector.

Following the listing of Alba on BSE, the number of Bahraini shareholding companies reached 49, of which five companies are non-Bahraini.-TradeArabia News Service
