Arabcom to hold 6th forex expo in Beirut

Dubai, December 10, 2009

The sixth Middle East Forex Trading Expo and Conference, an industry event geared specifically for forex traders, will take place in Beirut, said the chief of leading business house Arabcom Group.

The summit will be held under the theme “Trade with Confidence” at Habtoor Grand Hotel on May 20 and 21, 2010.

“Now entering our sixth edition, the Middle East Forex Trading Expo & Conference 2010 to be held in Beirut, Lebanon guarantees our potential and returning participants unparalleled access to both individual, institutional investors and decision-makers in high growth but hard-to-penetrate markets,” said Katia Tayar, founder and president of Arabcom Group.

“With Lebanon’s new government initiatives of facilitating business development in the country coupled with its existing status as a free market economy, participants will have the upper hand in identifying potential clients and finding new customers to increase their investment portfolio” she added.

Previous events in the series have attracted a global audience and have provided a platform for leaders in the field to share their expertise and experience on the most important topics related to online trading.

The Middle East Forex Trading Expo & Conference brings a network of international exhibitors and sponsors to educate novice and seasoned traders in the Arab world.

Over 1,000 attendees participated in the fifth Middle East Forex Trading Expo & Conference 2009 held in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai.

Jean Louis Farwagi, vice president of Arabcom Group said: “Lebanon is one of the highly preferred locations for Arabs and expats to do business because it is very open to trade and foreign investment.”

“Its strategic location between Europe, Africa and the rest of the GCC markets make it an ideal hub for commerce and tourism. That is why it makes perfect sense to hold the sixth Middle East Forex Expo there.”

Farwagi continued: “In addition, Lebanese are born traders since ancient times and the event provides a unique opportunity for them to further develop their online trading skills and learn more about its risks, benefits and rewards.”

“There is a large untapped market in Lebanon and the neighboring countries, which offers the potential to boost the investment portfolios and profitability of forex trading companies,” Farwagi concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
