Leading GCC insurance provider Damana has entered the B2C digital market with a new motor insurance portal for Bahrain.

 

Through the new portal, commercial and private motor customers can obtain quick quote packaged options, with seven-day validity, and renew existing policies with successful transactions taking less than two minutes.

 

The user-friendly portal lets customers speedily upload photos and documents with an in-built Optical Corrector Recognition system then extract necessary data from the images to complete applications.

While the portal currently offers only motor insurance for Bahrain, Damana plans to expand its product offering and geographic outreach offering tailored products for specific markets. 

 

“We hope to take the portal into the rest of the GCC and to integrate additional offerings in the near future,” explained Chidiac. “By the end of Q2 next year we anticipate having rolled out customised products in the UAE, Oman and Kuwait.”
