Azizi takes preventative measures to tackle Covid-19

DUBAI, April 1, 2020

Azizi Developments, a leading real estate developer in the UAE, said it has implemented an array of preventative measures across its offices, sales gallery and projects in bid to tackle Covid-19 outbreak.

Through VCM, its community management provider, Azizi is taking several steps in response to the ongoing global outbreak of Covid-19, in line with healthcare measures being executed by the government and recommendations being given by local and international health authorities.

Azizi’s ongoing digital transformation is enabling the developer to maintain its operational efficiency and excellence, all while taking precautionary measures that meet and go beyond circulated advisories.

For its home office and teleworking policy implementation, Azizi has provided its employees with the necessary tools and systems that allow them to work remotely, said the developer in its statement.

Staff are given access to all of the firm’s applications and servers, allowing business to be conducted as usual, it added.

Moreover, Azizi has rolled out a video calling platform that allows customers to get in touch via an audio-visual conference module.

Through this tool, property seekers can get all the information they require in their home purchase-decision making processes in a safe and comfortable manner.

The video calling platform is also being used by customer service to communicate directly with clients, allowing for transparent, immediate, worry-free, seamless and comprehensive interactions and continuous communication at the customer’s convenience.

Azizi’s preventative efforts began in February when the developer installed hand sanitising stations and commenced the regular disinfection of its offices and communities, disseminated DHA-validated, educational information on how to practice proper hygiene to all of its stakeholders, and began imposing minimal contact and self-quarantining policies.

With the global situation evolving quickly, Azizi then implemented a company-wide teleworking policy. The developer is now looking at further ways to combat the spread of Covid-19, said a top official.

"This is an important and decisive year for us and the real estate sector as a whole. It is crucial for us to go above and beyond when it comes to implementing preventative measures, all while ensuring the continuity and efficiency of our operations and ongoing projects," remarked its CEO Farhad Azizi.

Azizi Developments had recently launched its “#StayHome while we build your future’ campaign to raise awareness of the #StayHome initiative while underscoring its commitment to the health and well-being of its stakeholders.

"Construction work was progressing very swiftly, and home seekers now have more time than ever before to properly inform themselves of all the property investment opportunities that Dubai has to offer," stated Azizi.

“With the support of health authorities, the private and public sectors, and society as a whole, we will overcome this unsettling start of the year and emerge as an even stronger, more organised and focused civilisation. We may be isolated at home, but we are in this together”, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
