DUBAI, December 8, 2017
Dubai Association Centre (DAC) is organising the first Dubai Association Conference on December 11 and 12 to cater for an increasing number of associations and the growing industries across the Middle East.
The conference is a platform to gain insights from international and regional experts on the latest trends in areas such as membership, online communities, restructuring education, volunteerism, governance etc. and to network with like-minded professionals.
Dubai Association Conference is relevant for professionals from regional and international associations, government representatives, university faculties and students as well as other professionals with an interest in developing associations.
The conference will go beyond traditional classroom style education to focus on collaboration and engagement in key growing industries across the region. The conference will be designed to ensure ample opportunities for networking, alongside thought-provoking discussions to explore and nurture new partnerships and opportunities arising between associations along with government, academia and the private sector.
The objective of Dubai Association Conference is to become a platform for dialogue and education for associations interested in exploring opportunities in the Middle East Region and to ultimately contribute to building an association community that drives the knowledge economy in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Arabian Peninsula.
DAC is a joint initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and Dubai World Trade Centre (DTWC) to offer assistance for the establishment of non-profit, apolitical and non-religious professional associations and trade bodies in the Emirate of Dubai. – TradeArabia News Service
