Cards and Payments Middle East rebranded

DUBAI, UAE , June 1, 2016

Cards and Payments Middle East has been rebranded to Seamless, to ensure the event’s branding reflects the current state of the industry and the content and services showcased at the show.

Joseph Ridley, general manager of exhibition organiser Terrapinn, said: “Today customer needs and expectations have changed, and people expect a seamless, hassle free experience, whether that’s online or in-store. We have taken the decision to re-brand, in line with industry trends, as our customers today are focused on showcasing the very latest in commerce and payments technology, moving away from traditional card payments.”

M Nabil Ibenbrahim, executive vice president and regional director for Middle East and Asia at payment software company HPS, said: “In the 13 years since HPS has been exhibiting at Cards and Payments, we have seen the solutions and technologies evolve significantly and we’re now in a very different landscape to when we first exhibited. Rebranding to Seamless reflects the current state of the industry and the trends we’re seeing, so we’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with the event in 2017.”

Seamless will continue to represent a variety of industries, co-locating Seamless payments, Seamless e-commerce and Seamless retail.

The show will remain a key meeting place for pioneers in the payments, e-commerce and retail sectors to exchange ideas, showcase products and develop partnerships. –TradeArabia News Service
