Taqeem backs religious endowments forum

RIYADH, February 11, 2016

The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) will participate in the upcoming third forum of organizing the religious endowments (Awqaf) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Organized by the Endowments Committee in Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh, the event will take place on February 14 and 15 at the King Faisal Conference Hall in Intercontinental Hotel.

Taqeem will be represented by its secretary general Issam Al Mubarak, through worksheet entitled "the Valuation Authorities and Their Roles in Maintaining Endowments" on the second day of the forum.

The worksheet is aimed at identifying the role of valuation, and the importance of the valuation authorities in supporting and developing Endowments, and the aspects of their benefits.

"We were keen to participate in the forum in his third period, addressing all the participants and the attendance, introducing them the strategic dimensions of valuation according to the international standards, where we work in Taqeem on qualifying number of accredited valuers,” said Al Mubarak.

“A total of 641 people have gained the temporary membership from the Authority till now, and they will have noticeable and prominent role in the Saudi market generally and particularly in the endowments field,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
