Bahrain ranks high on anti-graft index

MANAMA, January 28, 2016

Bahrain has improved five places in a global corruption index compiled by Transparency International. The country was placed joint 50th in the 2015 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) with a score of 51 points, compared to 55th with a 49 points in 2014, and was the fifth least corrupt country in the Middle East and North Africa last year, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
