Wasel Exchange opens second branch in Oman

Wasel Exchange, a new entrant in the field of money exchange in Oman wholly owned by Oman Investment and Finance Company, has opened its second branch at Al Ghubrah.
It was opened by the first customer, who visited the exchange to remit money, in the presence of Said Ahmed Safrar, chairman of Wasel Exchange, K P Sasidharan, general manager of the exchange and other officials.
This focus on customer will be the hallmark of the services offered by Wasel Exchange, said Safrar.
The exchange will expand into other localities for providing competitive rates and services to the customers, he said.
The new money exchange has tied up with major Banks in India and installed the latest systems for speed remittance facilities.
It has also entered into arrangements with major money transfer companies like Western Union, Express Money and Transfast for instant transfer of money.
It offers remittance facilities with acknowledgement messages sent through SMS, along with efficient service, said the statement.
