Modern Exchange launches third Bahrain outlet

Modern Exchange Company (MEC) Bahrain has opened its third outlet in the kingdom at Gudaibiya Avenue, close to Dasman Centre.
The outlet was formally inaugurated and dedicated to customers by company director Abdulla Esam Fakhro, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
"We have received a highly encouraging response from customers at our branches in Hoora, Golden Sands and the Filipino Gardens in Gudaibiya, which were opened earlier this month," Fakhro said.
"We have invested heavily into creating a state-of-the-art technology platform and have built direct links with select banks in India, Pakistan, Philippines and Egypt."
The company's general manager Richhpal Singh said he found that customers were particularly excited about MEC's ability to provide instant credit to beneficiary accounts with some of the largest banks in prominent remittance corridors from Bahrain.
"Customers have also been pleasantly surprised by MEC's offer of free life insurance cover to all remitters," he said.
The company is working on creating direct links with banks in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh which shall be ready soon.
MEC plans to open its fourth and fifth outlets in Bahrain at Shaikh Isa Avenue in Muharraq Suq and at Road No 82 in East Riffa Suq, before the end of the month. - TradeArabia News Service
