Modern Exchange opens new outlet in Bahrain
MANAMA, May 17, 2015
Modern Exchange Company (MEC) Bahrain, a financial services company, has opened its third outlet in the kingdom.
The outlet at Gudaibiya Avenue, near Dasman Centre was inaugurated by company director Abdulla Esam Fakhro, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
'We have received an encouraging response from customers at our two branches which were opened earlier this month,' he said.
'The customers are particularly excited about MEC's ability to provide instant credit to beneficiary accounts with some of the largest banks in prominent remittance corridors from Bahrain.
'Customers have also been pleasantly surprised by MEC's offer of free life insurance cover to all its customers.'
MEC is scheduled to open its fourth and fifth outlets at Shaikh Isa Avenue in Muharraq Suq and at Road No 82 in East Riffa Suq by the end on this month.
'We have invested heavily into creating a state-of-the-art technology platform and have built direct links with select banks in India, Pakistan, Philippines and Egypt,' general manager Richhpal Singh said.
'This has positioned MEC not only to meet but also to beat customer expectations when it comes to time taken to receive credits in beneficiary accounts,' he said.
'The company is also working on creating direct pipes with banks in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh which will be ready soon and will help beneficiaries receive money instantly in these corridors too,' Singh said. – TradeArabia News Service
