The Erbil Stock Exchange, which is Iraq’s first stock exchange, has installed video walls and stock ticker with global financial market display solutions specialist Wavetec’s financial display solutions.

The displays include a full colour LED ticker and a full colour LED display wall, which have been place at the exchange’s main training hall, and a full colour double line LED ticker which has been installed at the main entrance reception.

The exchange has been dedicated to offering a transparent and efficient environment for trading securities to serve its investors, safeguard their investments, and materialise a paradigm shift in the culture of investments in financial industry.

Serving as a financial hub in the region it required dynamic display solutions to present itself at the forefront of Erbil’s financial industry from the onset and encourage transparency in financial data dissemination.

The ESX business model was designed with an object to fashion a sustainable trading platform that procures revenue streams from several markets, issuance of securities, and growth in market capitalisation.

To set up its own trading platform, ESX needed reliable, real-time displays from Wavetec that could enable it to be managed independently.

The complete tailor-made end-to-end solutions from Wavetec, took into account all its information display item expectations.

All the displays have been integrated with exchange’s data centre using  Kettle - Wavetec’s integration data tool, to get live feeds.

The LED ticker will display real time news and stock market data, in English and Arabic as well as logos of companies.

The ticker can also be used to run special announcements by the exchange in real time from a central location.

The LED walls are customisable and can be used for different templates according to the requirements of the exchange. Using Donatello, Wavetec’s proprietary media player, the exchange can schedule and manage content efficiently at any time of the day. - TradeArabia News Service
