HFZA to take part in Russia, CIS market trade shows

Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) is set to explore the Russian and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets by attending various meetings and trade shows during this year.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, director of HFZA and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), said: “The demand from the institutional investors from CIS countries were huge in 2014 and over 112 companies from Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries registered with HFZA, encouraging us to explore this market.
“Our team successfully participated at ‘The international exhibition for consumer goods - Consumexpo’2015. The trade show helped our team to share our strategic position and advantages to entrepreneurs from these countries.”
Currently, more than 365 companies from CIS countries operate from Hamriyah Free Zone.
In addition to Russia, investors from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Armenia, Moldova also opened their firms in Hamriyah Free Zone in last year. - TradeArabia News Service
