Walid Sidani... stepping down

Adnic CEO steps down

ABU DHABI, December 1, 2014

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (Adnic), a leading provider of insurance solutions, has announced that its chief executive officer Walid Sidani will be stepping down from his role on December 1.

 He led the company’s modernisation and expansion efforts over the past six years, a company statement said.

Khalifa Mohamed Al Kindi, Adnic chairman stated: “On behalf of the Adnic Board of Directors, we would like to thank Sidani for the great effort and results achieved over the last 6 years to help the company reach many operational and financial targets. The strategies and infrastructure put in place will sure help Adnic maintain its regional leadership role in the years ahead.”

Sidani said: “It has been a privilege to serve at the helm of Adnic over the last six years. We have been able to expand geographically, our product suite, distribution channels, and customer service delivery capabilities.  I am delighted to leave Adnic ensuring that the organisation is today possessing the brightest talent in the Mena insurance industry and is fit for a greater purpose.”

Adnic will be announcing the successor of Sidani shortly, the statement added. – TradeArabia News Service
