Solidarity General Takaful (SGT), a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, has officially launched its online insurance services portal.

The online insurance service, online.solidarity.bh, will enable its users to obtain with a click of a button retail products insurance quotes, issuance of new policies and products information, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Existing retail customers can now enjoy online renewal and management of policies, and claims submissions.

"The launch of the online insurance service is part of our commitment to continually enhance the overall customer experience," Solidarity Group chief executive Ashraf Bseisu said.

"It is a step closer to realising our vision to become the leading Sharia-compliant insurance company in Bahrain," he added

"The online portal is a very convenient way for our customers to manage their insurance needs on a customer-friendly and user-centric webpage, enabling real time transactions all under a high level of security," SGT general manager Jawad Mohammed said.

"It also allows customers to avail Solidarity's wide range of insurance services without the need to actually visit us; it is effectively our newest virtual branch," he added. - TradeArabia News Service
