BFH names new chief executive

MANAMA, September 1, 2014

The Bahrain Financial Holding (BFH) Company and the Financial Centre Development Company have appointed Ahmed Ebrahim Al Moataz as the new chief executive and board member of BFH.

The two companies are the developers of the Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH), a fully integrated waterfront financial city, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

In a statement, the two companies said the new chief executive is an experienced strategist and financial consultant and adviser, with experience and a proven track record directing local and international investment firms towards growth and prosperity.

Al Moataz, who assumes the reins from former managing director Dr Omar Al Mardi, said BFH is the acknowledged business hub of Bahrain, and one of the most preferred business addresses in the Gulf.

“The development is witnessing increased construction work to cater to the growing community of international businesses, companies and financial institutions,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
