Trading on Dubai's main stock exchange will not be extended on Tuesday, a spokesman for the exchange said after trade was suspended during the last half-hour of the day's session because of a technical problem.

The spokesman said the problem was relatively minor and only affected a few brokerages, though it led to a suspension of the whole market. He added that no trades would be cancelled.

Dubai Financial Market is expected to open as normal on Wednesday. – Reuters
