Saudi money supply growth hits new low

Saudi Arabia's M3 money supply growth slowed to a 14-month low of 10.4 per cent year-on-year in October from 13.4 per cent at the end of September, central bank data showed on Friday.

Growth in bank lending to the private sector slowed to 13.5 per cent, the lowest level since May 2012, from 14.6 per cent. The central bank's net foreign assets hit a record high of SR2.658 trillion ($708.8 billion) in October.-Reuters
