New CEO for Khaleeji Commercial

Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of the leading Islamic commercial banks in Bahrain, has appointed Khalil Ismaeel Al Meer as the bank’s new chief executive officer.
Al Meer comes to KHCB with extensive experience in commercial banking having worked for many years in reputable banks in Bahrain, said a statement.
Prior to his appointment, Al Meer was general manager of corporate banking division in BBK.
Speaking on behalf of the Board of the bank, Dr Fuad Al Omar, chairman, said: “We believe that Mr Al Meer’s vast experience in banking and strong business relationships will be invaluable as we move forward with our strategy to expand and grow our business in Bahrain and in the region.”
Al Meer has over 28 years of experience in corporate banking, gained in senior roles at National Bank of Bahrain and Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. – TradeArabia News Service
