American Appraisal opens Abu Dhabi office

Abu Dhabi, July 3, 2012

American Appraisal, the global valuation firm with 60 international offices in 28 countries, has announced the opening of its regional office in Abu Dhabi.

The company move is aimed at taking advantage of the growing demand for valuation services in the region, particularly in the oil and gas, real estate and infrastructure industries.

American Appraisal said this was its first office in the Middle East. The valuation consultancy had been serving its Middle Eastern clients for over 10 years from its UK hub.

But, now it plans to appoint a senior director to manage the office locally.

During the early development of the office, responsibility for clients and services in the region will continue to be handled through the Group’s London branch under the responsibility of Mike Weaver, the managing director of American Appraisal in the UK.

On the Middle East foray, Weaver said, "A global economy demands a local presence and with American Appraisal already firmly established in Europe, Asia and North America, we felt now was the time to launch our first office in the Middle East, having experienced a significant growth in demand for our services thanks to the continued rapid development of the region as a whole."

American Appraisal was founded in 1896 and focuses exclusively on valuation and related services. The Firm’s client base includes many Fortune 1000 companies.-TradeArabia News Service
