Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) has announced that it is the platinum sponsor for Cityscape Qatar conference and exhibition, which is set to take place from May 23 to 25 at Doha Exhibition Centre in West Bay.

The conference is in line with the bank’s commitment to the economic development of the country, a statement from al khaliji said.

Robin McCall, group CEO at al khaliji, said: “The event has been hugely popular since it was launched in Dubai in 2002, and we are honoured to have our name associated with the first Qatari edition of the conference. The event is a reflection of the seemingly never-ending successes the country has been witnessing.”

Over 1,500 participants from over 200 multi-national firms are expected at the conference in the run up to the World Cup in 2022.

The event is expected to attract investors, developers, architects, engineers, and financial institutions, the statement said.
