Al khaliji launches new banking service

Doha, May 9, 2012

Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) has launched a new online banking service in line with its commitment to convenient and efficient banking for its customers.

Robin McCall, chief executive officer, al khaliji Group, said: “Close to 95 per cent of transactions that are done at any of our branches can now be done online, whether it be transferring funds, paying off a credit card, and so forth. But what really makes this service stand out is the user interface; it appears, and acts, like a modern smart application, as we decided that the traditional look and feel of typical online banking websites neither met our needs nor our brand.”

“As security is the primary concern for internet banking users, we went to extraordinary lengths to ensure a highly secure website, consulting with experts in the field of internet security, and including some of the most modern and innovative security features in internet banking,” he said.

Some of the security features include the randomised virtual keyboard and beneficiary activations.

“However, the true strength of our security measures is located beneath the hood, so to speak, to which most users will not be aware of,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
