Zurich opens services office at DGW

Dubai, December 13, 2011

Zurich, a leading insurance group, has opened a dedicated HelpPoint office at the Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) facility to provide a wide range of insurance services to government clients.

The opening of the HelpPoint follows Zurich’s appointment by the DGW to insure its fleet of government vehicles.

Located in Jaddaf, the DGW provides a range of vehicle repair and maintenance services to government departments. Zurich’s DGW HelpPoint will ensure fast and efficient claims resolution for government clients by enabling them to register and settle claims, collect their vehicles following repair, and update their vehicle information.

The opening of the DGW HelpPoint marks the first time that the insurer has opened an office in the UAE dedicated to serving the needs of a single client.

Humaid Sultan Al Mutaiwee, executive director of the Dubai Government Workshop, said: “Over many years, the Dubai Government Workshop has built a reputation for technical excellence – and we expect the same from our partners. As one of the world’s top five insurers, Zurich has the expertise and resources to handle this key account.”

Maroun Mourad, CEO of Zurich's General Insurance operations in the Middle East, said: “The appointment by the Dubai Government Workshop demonstrates Zurich’s expertise in handling large fleet accounts.”

“Such a prestigious organisation deserves only the best service, of course, and that’s why we’re proud to open a dedicated HelpPoint office at the DGW facility. Staffed by our own employees, the office will provide government customers with a fast and easy way to handle their insurance needs,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
