NBAD offers special fee on remittance

Abu Dhabi, July 7, 2011

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), a leading in the UAE, has reduced fees for international remittance to Dh1 ($0.27) for a limited time through.

The service NBAD Arrow, which was awarded the best mobile payment application by the industry, allows customers pay Dh1, instead of typical Dh35. Arrow service is available to NBAD and non-NBAD customers.

NBAD Arrow allows users to send money to over 233,000 MoneyGram locations in 191 countries. The special promotion runs into autumn.

“Arrow Service, the most convenient and inexpensive tool for remitting funds, has become even more affordable,” says Ahmad Al Naqbi, senior general manager of Channels and Electronic Banking Services at NBAD.

“Although NBAD Arrow is already the most inexpensive means of wiring money to other countries, we wanted to show our appreciation to our customers through this special promotion,’ he added.

To benefit from this promotion, customers should register with the Arrow service, a statement said.

“NBAD’s Arrow mobile phone service has been a great and welcome tool in the market and we continue to fine-tune it and offer special promotions to extend the benefits of quick and convenient banking,” Al Naqbi concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
