BMI Bank in new card chip deal

BMI Bank, has signed an agreement with Sinnad, who will be responsible to issue the new chip enabled Diners Club credit cards.

It will also implement a comprehensive system to monitor and manage the risk associated with the cards electronic transactions, said a statement from the BMI.

This move is in line with the bank's commitment towards providing its customers with a market leading secure and convenient payment solution, it added.

'Diners Club is today a globally recognised credit card brand that is accepted in more than 185 countries and at 14 million merchant locations with access to over 750,000 cash access locations and ATMs,' said BMI Bank chief executive officer Jamal Al Hazeem.

'The card also comes equipped with a strong loyalty programme as well as rewards that includes free of cost access to over 276 airport lounges across the world,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
