Saudi Hollandi Bank said it has joined hands with Hewlett-Packard to deliver the next generation electronic banking services to Saudi Arabia.

This will offer Saudi Hollandi customers an integrated, rich and consistent experience across Internet, Mobile banking, ATMs, call centers and the Saudi Hollandi branches, the Saudi bank said in a statement.

Saudi Hollandi signed an agreement with HP to develop a Multi Channel platform to enable the bank to better service its customers across all channels.

The Multi Channel Platform programme will deliver the latest technology, allowing the bank to substantially improve its current services whilst enabling the flexibility to add new services in future.

As such, the programme will be the first step of a continuous journey of innovation in which Saudi Hollandi and HP join forces to bring the best solutions to the bank’s customers.

“The delivery of the platform is an important step towards delivering better service to the bank’s customers.” said Mubarak Al-Khafrah, chairman of Saudi Hollandi.

Dr Bernd van Linder, the bank managing director said the agreement with HP will bring the technology allowing us to constantly renew and improve our solutions.

"This project clearly demonstrates HP’s commitment to a long-term agreement with SHB, and the KSA financial services market,” remarked Bassem Bouzid, regional vice president and general manager for HP Enterprise Services in the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa region.-TradeArabia News Service
