Emirates, the leading international  airline of the UAE, has selected the financial services firm of Citigroup, to handle its cash management operations in Asia, Africa and North America, the US bank said on Thursday.

Citi said the mandate aims at optimising global cash management by providing payments technology as well as receivables and liquidity tools to Emirates.

It did not provide a value for the deal in the statement. – Reuters
