KPMG names new IT advisory partner

KPMG in Bahrain recently appointed Jeroen Menting to head up its IT advisory services group.

KPMG in Bahrain managing partner, Jamal Fakhro, said the appointment is a major boost for the audit, tax and advisory firm, given Menting’s global IT advisory experience.

“Jeroen has worked with some of KPMG’s biggest clients in the United States, Europe, Japan, China and India,” Fakhro said.

“He has implemented IT advisory projects for financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and public sector clients and, is ideally positioned to help local businesses develop their IT strategies.”

Menting has moved from the Netherlands. Prior to KPMG, Menting worked with KPN Telecom, PwC, ConQuaestor and IBM Global Business Consulting.

Menting can advise local businesses in: IT strategy and performance, IT portfolio, program and project management, ERP and business intelligence advisory, IT sourcing advisory, IT security, business lifecycle and continuity management, IT governance advisory and IT audit and risk management.-TradeArabia News Service
