Derayah website ‘most popular’
Riyadh, April 10, 2010
The website of Derayah Financial, a Saudi-based leading investment company, has been ranked the most visited among websites of Saudi banks and financial companies by a global statistics company.
According to Alexa International, which specialises in gathering statistical data and ranking websites all over the world, during the last three months Derayah’s website managed to attract a hefty 45 per cent of regular visitors.
This was attributed primarily due to the fact that the site offers advanced tools that help the visitors communicate with the company, and contains valuable information sources for investors and local economical and financial experts.
"This advanced position reflects the company's commitment to invest in technological development and its zeal to improve the services it offers to the general public and to investors alike,” said Mohamed El-Kuwaiz, managing director of Derayah.
“Our company is keen on using the most advanced technological tools available because we consider our website as one of the important means of communication. We certainly hope that our website continues to boost Derayah’s position in the market as the one and only independent company in the Middle East to offer investment alternatives to the individual investor through one website.”
"This new ranking for Derayah’s website comes as a natural result to the increasing number of services offered by the company through its website, and the fact that Derayah made its website a unified market that offers 75 mutual funds from eight different banks and investment companies,” El-Kuwaiz continued.
"Derayah is continually updating and upgrading its website by adding more information about the products and services of the company, and allowing the visitors to create new free accounts. This contributed to the effectiveness of the website and its increasing popularity, as evidenced by the new Alexa ranking."
El-Kuwaiz added: "The distinguished new ranking achieved by the website can also be contributed to the policy adopted by Derayah, which put the website on the top of the company's priorities. The company is regularly posting new information to the website, and improving its design and attractive interface.”
El-Kuwaiz pointed out that the company has devoted a large section of the site to programmes and educational material and periodical lectures that equip the investor with easy to use tools such as a glossary of investment terms and training courses to aid the investor and guide them in their investments. – TradeArabia News Service
