CrediMax launches World Cup Visa cards

Manama, March 17, 2010

CrediMax, Bahrain’s leading credit card issuer and acquirer, recently launched its new FIFA 2010 World Cup Visa cards, characterised by a design inspired by the golden World Cup theme.

“We prefer to launch a new credit card that carries a good memory, as we do with our valued customers on occasions of World Cup games,” said Mohammed Malik, CrediMax CEO.

The new launch is coupled with a promotion campaign urging customers to spend the amount of BD200 ($530.60) using their Visa credit cards during the campaign period starting from March 1 till April 31 to qualify for the raffle draw.

Five lucky winners will each win a trip for two persons to attend World Cup 2010 matches in South Africa. This includes travel tickets, a $200 paid card and accommodation in a four-star hotel, plus other surprises and valuable offers.

Also, another 200 lucky winners will receive gift baskets.

“Due to the popularity of this sport, especially in Bahrain, we have decided to launch the new cards in parallel with a promotion campaign which allows CrediMax card holders to attend World Cup games upon spending BD200 during the campaign period,” said Nader Al Soufi, head of business development, CrediMax. – TradeArabia News Service
