Bahrain roadshow on sukuk issue

Bahrain will today (June 4) begin a roadshow for its planned sukuk issue, an official at one of the lead managers has said.

The roadshow will start in Kuala Lumpur, moving to Singapore tomorrow, Riyadh on Sunday and finishing in London on Monday, according to a report in our sister newspaper Gulf Daily News.

Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Rasheed Al Maraj said earlier this year that the
kingdom was planning a $500 million deal.

Maturity period is expected to be five years. Lead managers are Calyon, Deutsche Bank and HSBC.
