Kuwait's central bank said it would issue KD100 million ($345.2 million) of one-year treasury bonds on May 13 at a coupon of 2 percent.

Bids for the bonds amounted to KD682 million, central bank data showed.

Kuwait's central bank has been increasing number of bond issues this year to absorb excess liquidity. The last issue was on May 6, for KD125 million, with the same coupon.-Reuters
