Emirates NBD has announced the completion of their Internet Banking promotion entitled “Logon & Win” by awarding 78 winners.

The promotion that ran for more than two months was devised with the aim to encourage Emirates NBD customers to fully utilize the Internet Banking services and to familiarize them with its practical convenience and numerous advantages.

Customers can conduct their daily transactions through the use of Internet Banking services instead of queuing up at the bank branches, said a bank official.

Emirates NBD wanted to create more awareness surrounding this service in order to further facilitate customer pragmatism.

Prizes that were awarded to the winners of the “Logon & Win” promotion included: branded watches, mobile phone devices, LCD screens, a weekend at the Atlantis Resort on the Palm Jumeirah, and daily shopping vouchers from Mall of the Emirates.

Saif Al Mansoori, head of marketing CWM at Emirates NBD at Emirates NBD said, “Some of our valued customers are not fully aware of the advantages that online banking provides. We wanted to create a little bit of an incentive scheme for them in hopes that they would become more familiar with our Internet Banking services, and therefore enjoy the ease and convenience that it offers.”

“Alternative banking channels are the beginning of the future of banking. The needs for conventional banking have begun to subside with time since people now have several convenient means to handle their banking needs,' Al Mansoori added.

Internet Banking services consist of a wide range of transactions. It allows customers to view their account details, transfer funds, open accounts, order cheque books, ATM/debit card and gives them a way to make more than 13 payments.
