BNI offers new insurance service

Manama, February 8, 2009

Bahrain National Insurance (BNI) introduced a first-of-its-kind insurance service named 'Intelligent Insurance'.

It is an automated insurance renewal machine that allows BNI customers to renew their motor, home and domestic servant insurance policies in an easy, quick and convenient manner. BNI is a subsidiary of Bahrain National Holding (BNH).

The service is available in three of BNI's branches and marked as 'Intelligent Insurance Zone' in Seef District, Muharraq and Sanad.

The Zone, in addition to renewals, includes BNI's e-commerce service - the first virtual insurance branch in the region - launched in May last year. The zone will serve as a one-stop-station, and allow customers to register their car with the traffic directorate upon renewing their motor policies.

'The Intelligent Insurance is the product of our dedicated efforts to improve our customers experience with BNI,' BNI motor and personal lines general manager Abdulla Al Suwaidi said.

'We have always positioned ourselves as pioneers in the local insurance market, and now reinstated this position with the Intelligent Insurance,' he said.

The service is not restricted to existing customer but also available to new and potential clients.

'This service comes as part of BNH's strategic plan to invest in new technologies as well as branching out through crafting innovative products and services,' BNH chief executive Mahmood Al Soufi said.-TradeArabia News Service
