Takaful firm launched in Bahrain

Regional takaful company t'azur has announced the launch of its Bahrain operations.

The company has an authorised capital of $500 million and has been licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain, said company head of multi-channel distribution Bashar Khatib.

"We offer family (life), general (non-life), employee benefit and corporate takaful internationally accepted standards and guarded by a strict professional ethos," Khatib stated.

"Our operations will soon include Qatar, UAE and Kuwait, as well as other international markets," he noted.

Khatib said among the services are plans for savings, education, retirement, lump sum investment and protection against medical, personal accident, critical illness, long-term care, term life and home finance protection.

"We also offer vehicle, home insurance and pleasure craft insurance," he explained.

"In the corporate sector, we offer group life and disability insurance, group medical policies and corporate savings and pension plans."-TradeArabia News Service
