SABB opens Arabic call centre for HSBC ME

SABB has opened an Arabic call centre for HSBC Bank Middle East customers in Riyadh.
’Through this new call centre, SABB will receive Arabic incoming calls from HSBC customers from all over the Middle East, related to credit cards and other banking services enquiries, in addition to answering questions related to marketing campaigns, and contact with prospective and potential customers,’ said Nabil Al-Hoshan, general manager, SABB.
’This unit is expected to handle 3000 calls per day by year end,’ he added.
“The new call centre is part of our ongoing effort to consolidate call centre operations in the Middle East,’ said Abdulfattah Sharaf, CEO, Personal Financial Services, HSBC Middle East.
At the ’2007 World Call Centres Awards’, SABB won the silver medal for best call centre in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the silver medal for ’Best Call Centre’ among medium sized operations, in addition to the award of ’Best Outbound Campaign,’ said a statement.-TradeArabia News Service
