Lloyds TSB Middle East has appointed Chris Balfour as consumer banking director for its Dubai-based operations.

Balfour has worked with Lloyds TSB, one of the world’s largest banking groups, for over 21 years. He began working in Dubai in 2005 as the head of offshore banking after leaving the bank’s UK operations on the Isle of Man and was promoted to head of personal banking in 2006.

Balfour's new role will see him operate out of the main branch of Lloyds TSB in Jumeirah. 

Lloyds TSB Middle East provides a range of financial services including personal banking, business banking, corporate banking, offshore banking, private banking, treasury services and trade finance services. -TradeArabia News Service
