Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), the master developer of ports and industrial zones, has won the Lloyd’s List “Port Operator of the Year” award at the Lloyd’s List Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards.

Amongst all shortlisted candidates, ADPC managed to convince the jury with its sustained commitment to operational efficiency, ease of business and exceptional customer service, said a statement.  

Additionally, the jury mentioned ADPC’s semi-automated terminal at Khalifa Port as well as its continuous effort to simplify services for customers, successfully implementing E-passes, numerous online processes, and the automated gates which speed the process of cargo release allowing faster turnaround times.

Sultan Al Jaberi, ADPC’s vice president, regulations, compliance and health, safety and environment (HSE), accepted the award on behalf of the organization at an official award’s ceremony which took place last week at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Dubai. – TradeArabia News Service
