The Italian Pavilion at Oman Sustainability Week 2026 saw the signing of an energy-related partnership aimed at advancing sustainable infrastructure and clean energy integration in Oman.
The agreement establishes a sustainable, hyperscale AI data centre project with a planned capacity of around 150 MW, designed to integrate renewable energy, high-efficiency systems and advanced digital infrastructure to support Oman’s growing role as a regional hub for the digital economy and energy-efficient computing, reported Oman News Agency.
The project brings together international partners including RINA, Vitali, Forte Secur Group and Corpolgia, in collaboration with Ahlam Group, focusing on building low-carbon, energy-efficient data infrastructure aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
The initiative is expected to strengthen energy-linked digital systems, improve efficiency and support long-term demand for sustainable data storage and AI-driven services.
