Riyadh Season’s sixth edition reaches 17m visitors

The number of visitors to Riyadh Season in its sixth edition has reached 17 million, coinciding with the conclusion of the season’s activities and reflecting the significant turnout and wide public engagement witnessed since its launch, announced Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and Advisor.

Launched last October, Riyadh Season delivered an integrated entertainment experience featuring diverse content across entertainment zones, theatrical productions, and major sporting events in various disciplines, including boxing, tennis, and snooker, among others, reported SPA.

The season also hosted international and regional concerts, in addition to interactive experiences designed to cater to various age groups within an ecosystem developed in line with the highest global standards.

Season zones recorded high visitor turnout, driven by the diversity of events and experiences that enabled guests to enjoy continuously evolving offerings throughout a season filled with surprises.

This contributed to strengthening Riyadh’s entertainment and tourism landscape and attracting visitors from across the Kingdom and abroad.

The season was marked by an expansion in both the scale and quality of its events, alongside ongoing enhancements in organisational mechanisms and service standards, positively impacting visitor experience and satisfaction while showcasing national capabilities in organising and managing major global events.

Reaching 17 million visitors reflects the continued success of Riyadh Season and underscores its pivotal role in supporting Quality of Life objectives and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position on the global entertainment map.
