The American Concrete Institute (ACI) has announced that registration is now open for its Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention, scheduled to be held from March 29 to April 1, 2026, in the greater Chicago area.

Known as the world’s gathering place for advancing concrete, the event will bring together engineers, contractors, educators, manufacturers, and material representatives to discuss and collaborate on concrete codes, specifications, and practices. 

According to the organisers, the convention will feature more than 300 committee meetings, over 60 technical sessions as well as industry trade exhibition and multiple networking events. All committee meetings will be open to registered attendees.

Attendees will benefit from technical and educational sessions that feature the latest research, case studies, and best practices, along with opportunities to earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs), they stated. 

To be held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago, the program includes technical and educational sessions focused on new research, case studies and best practices, with opportunities for attendees to earn professional development hours.

The convention will also host the FRP Composites Student Competition, in which student teams design, build and test fiber-reinforced polymer concrete structures based on cost and performance criteria.

Winners will be announced on March 30. Additional events include a networking mixer, student and young professional activities, and the president’s reception.
