The Saudi Tourism Development Fund launched its participation in the TOURISE Forum 2025 by announcing a set of projects and partnerships worth a total of SAR2.9 billion ($773 million), reflecting its role as an “Impact Sponsor” of the forum and as a key enabler in developing integrated destinations that enhance the diversity of Saudi Arabia’s tourism experiences and support sustainable economic growth.
The fund announced five integrated tourism
projects totaling 1,211 hotel keys. These include the Jareed Aseer project, the
Al-Hadaba park project, the Westin Resort, and The House Residences.
Future developments also include projects
in the Haifa and Jabal Abdullah areas under the Mantis hotel brand, to be
implemented in successive phases in support of Aseer Region Development
Strategy, which aims to strengthen the region’s position as a year-round
tourism destination.
The announcement of Aseer Region projects took place under the patronage of Governor of Aseer Region and Chairman of the Board of Aseer Development Authority Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, in the presence of Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Development Fund Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Vice Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Mansour Al Mushaiti, and CEO of the Tourism Development Fund Qusai Al-Fakhri, reported SPA.
Throughout the forum, the fund will continue announcing new partnerships that
complement this approach and further strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a
leading global destination for sustainable tourism.
