Gulf Air amenity bags win TravelPlus award

The Falcon Gold Class amenity bags launched by Gulf Air have won the TravelPlus 2013 Airline Amenity Bag Awards.

The airline receive the award in the 'Business Class Middle East Unisex amenity bag' category.

Gulf Air’s amenity bag, unveiled in November 2013, was specifically designed by Chopard, the Swiss-based luxury products and accessories company, for the national carrier’s long-haul Falcon Gold Class travellers.

Gulf Air acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi said: “We are very excited to have our newly-launched amenity bags recognised by TravelPlus in this awards category. The Gulf Air amenity bag features signature products such as Chopard facial spray, lip balm and moisturizing body cream. In addition to the Chopard products, the bag also includes eyeshades, socks, a dental kit, mouthwash and earplugs. The amenity bags are available on all long-haul Gulf Air flights for its Falcon Gold Class passengers.

The annual TravelPlus Awards recognise those airlines which offer outstanding customer service by presenting passengers with a range of high quality on-board kits. The awards celebrate the best onboard comfort and hospitality products in the airline industry and the innovation, creativity and design of both the airlines and their onboard suppliers.
