Experience Hub initiatives to support travel post-Covid-19

ABU DHABI, June 1, 2020

Experience Hub, the trade and promotion arm of Yas Island Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s fastest growing leisure and entertainment destinations, has introduced a plethora of key initiatives to enhance the trade partner experience and support the travel industry for a post Covid-19 future.

The announcement, made on the first day of Virtual ATM 2020, comes as part of Experience Hub’s commitment to developing, strengthening and investing in strategic trade relationships.

“Whilst the way we do business in the travel and hospitality industry has changed significantly, our Experience Hub team all around the globe has worked hard around the clock to ensure that our partners receive the level of service they expect and deserve”, said Liam Findlay, General Manager of Experience Hub.

“Investment in a robust infrastructure will ensure that we continue to engage in an open dialogue with our key partners about Yas Island’s phased re-opening strategy, which is designed to mutually benefit all travel stakeholders in global recovery. The health and well-being of all our B2B and B2C stakeholders is our top priority as we prepare for the welcoming of visitors to Yas Island. We are monitoring and closely following the guidance of UAE authorities, as well as observing global best practice to ensure that we are well prepared to offer our guests access to safe and exceptional experiences.

With the customer experience remaining a top priority for both trade partners and the destination, Experience Hub has put the contracting of new suppliers as key objective and is working hard to enlarge its product offerings and experiences to enjoy in Abu Dhabi.

What’s more, by investing in technological infrastructure, trade partners can now benefit from a new and improved booking process on experiencehub.com that will enhance the customer’s journey online.

Specialist training and upskilling of global teams is also a core focus in response to new ways of travelling and enhanced safety measures globally. Experience Hub currently has teams readily available to assist its trade partners across China, India, Europe, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and is soon looking to focus on new markets across North America, Australia, and Asia. Online training services for trade partners also remain available 24/7 at experiencehub.com.

In order to further support travel professionals, Experience Hub has also increased the content for Yas Expert online destination, allowing trade partners to have access to in-depth online modules on Yas Island Abu Dhabi’s award winning attractions, unmissable leisure experiences, on-island stays and itinerary planning facilities.

Participation in ATM 2020 will also grant Experience Hub the opportunity to continually expand its distribution network and identify avenues in which key trade partners can receive help once Yas Island Abu Dhabi launches its phased reopening. - TradeArabia News Service
