Saudi Arabia inks air transport deal with Senegal

JEDDAH (Saudi Arabia), July 22, 2019

Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said it has signed an agreement with Senegal in the field of air transport services as part of the kingdom's efforts to boost co-operation between the two countries.

The agreement includes several regulatory provisions guaranteeing the rights of the two parties, the pluralism of appointments, items related to air safety, aviation security, stated Gaca president Abdulhadi Al Mansouri after signing the pact with Senegalese Minister of Tourism and Air Transport Alioune Sarr.

The agreement also involves the scheduling of routes agreed upon in the agreement and other items in the field of cooperation in the air transport service, he stated during the bilateral meeting held in his office in Jeddah.

During the meeting, the duo discussed issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the field of civil aviation at the global level reflects the kingdom's policy of   achieving further growth and development in the air transport sector.

Furthermore, the agreement covered cooperation with other countries, and the commitment of safety and security of civil aviation, in addition to providing all the facilitations needed.-TradeArabia News Service
